Jason told Sam Willis had sent him, and immediately Sam put up his gun and asked how Willis was. As soon as Jason stepped outside, Sam whipped around the corner and pointed a gun at Jason. After Jason whistled The Star Spangled Banner as Willis had instructed him to do, Sam left followed by Jason. At first Sam appears intimidating, having an aggressive attitude.
When we first meet Sam, he’s playing poker with two Privateers. He’s also crazy in a good way, such as his excitement when him and Jason took out the fuel reservoirs. Everyone knows him, and everyone knows not to mess with him. If things couldn’t get any better, Sam is considered one of the best Privateers. Sam apparently made it, and succeeded in becoming one of Hoyt’s Privateers. Two teams were sent out, and Sam was part of them that unfortunately went missing. The CIA heard about Hoyt, and decided he should be dealt with. Hoyt is the second villain, him responsible for trafficking slaves among other things. Sam is a CIA agent, going undercover to try and take down Hoyt. We don’t meet him until the last half of the game when Willis drops Jason off in the Southern part of Rook Island. Sam Becker only appears in Far Cry 3, and is a minor protagonist in the series.
